NZBGET DOCKER HOW TO
I came from Windows and am relatively new in Linux, I do not understand how to give NZBGet the permissions needed to access /mnt/Downloads. nf(46): Invalid value for option "NzbDir" (/mnt/Downloads/NZBGet/nzb): could not create directory /mnt/Downloads: Permission denied This does not work I get a couple of errors for the NzbDir, the QueueDir and the TempDit. As the MainDir in NZBGet I put /mnt/Downloads. I then installed Docker, and NZBGet in Docker. Linux Docker: inside docker container in nzbget installation directory. The /mnt/Downloads folder has all the subfolders I need for NZBGet: 'nzb', 'complete' 'incomplete' etc. This does not work I get a couple of errors for the NzbDir, the QueueDir and the TempDit. NZBGet is a lightweight open source NZB downloader which runs almost anywhere.

I then installed Docker, and NZBGet in Docker. Download NZBGet setup for windows from Download page. Inclusion into AutoPirate To include NZBGet in your AutoPirate stack, include something like the following example in your autopirate. The /mnt/Downloads folder has all the subfolders I need for NZBGet: 'nzb', 'complete' 'incomplete' etc. NZBGet performs the same function as SABnzbd ( downloading content from Usenet servers ), but it's lightweight and fast (er), written in C++ ( as opposed to Python ). This works fine, as far as I can see (I'm no expert), I can access everything in /mnt/Downloads and can read write and create files. I mounted one of those shares to /mnt/Downloads I then installed samba and mounted a couple of Samba shares (on a NAS) via fstab. Oldest history examples at the top.I've installed Ubuntu server 20.04 as a VM on a Proxmox server. Do all the downloading, unpacking and then moving to its final media folder on the HDD drive alone. Do all the downloads on the M2 drive and then unpack to the HDD drive and then move to the HDD folder where it rest. Will monitor and see what happens after a couple of days running if I extract to the SSD cache drive as well. Do all the downloads and unpacking on the M2 drives and then copy over the file to the HDD drive. One repair was a bit long, but maybe that was necessary. My post-processing queue has fully cleared itself. More information is available from docker here and our announcement here. Supported Architectures We utilise the docker manifest for multi-platform awareness.

I've switched to nzbget downloading to my SSD cache drive and then extracting to the array. Nzbget is a usenet downloader, written in C++ and designed with performance in mind to achieve maximum download speed by using very little system resources.

By slow unpacking, we're talking over a day for a 50-70GB series pack. I've done it this way so that DestDir and InterDir are on different drives - I've tried the other way around (SSD->HDD) which has had no impact. I'm struggling to unpack/extract files quickly - fairly certain it's my settings as I have a decent system E5-2683V3, 64GB ram with downloads going to a HDD and extraction to a SSD.
